The Liberty Middle School newspaper, The Liberty Ledger, is a student-created publication made by students, for students. The Liberty Ledger is typically published four times each school year, though additional issues may be released depending on student interest and participation.

 

This is a true student newspaper. Students choose what they want to write about and have a voice in the content that is shared. The newspaper features a wide range of student work, including current events, school news, DIY projects, recipes, poetry, cartoons, illustrations, and other school-appropriate topics of interest. Students also have the opportunity to peer edit their articles during Newspaper Club meetings.

 

Newspaper Club is open to all students. Those interested in joining are encouraged to attend a meeting. Students who are not members may also submit articles, as long as they are typed, proofread for grammar, and emailed to the Newspaper Club advisor.
